Remember to keep holy the LORD'S Day There is so much wrong here, I hardly know where to start.
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind (Continued).
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Firstly, it is not called “The Sabbath”. The sabbath is a sign that you follow the God of Creation, not some deluded old man who thinks he is a god. Next, it does not say WHICH day is the holy day.
Also, it omits by whom and why the sabbath was instituted. It was created by God as a memorial of creation. It also places responsibility on you for those under your control. No one under your control should work on the sabbath. It does not say WHY you should keep the sabbath.
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Honor your father and your mother. The promise is gone, because it ties back to the authority of the one making the promise.
These commandments are encompassed by the second of the set of two (2) because if you loved your neighbour as yourself, you would not break them. If you break one of these, you have broken “Love Your Neighbour”.
Thou shalt not kill.
 You shall not kill
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
 You shall not commit adultery.
Thou shalt not steal.
 You shall not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Jesus gave creedence to the sabbath as still existent in the New Testament in Mark 2:27-28 And so did Paul in Hebrews 4:4
Each of these commandments has been individually accepted into the New Testament. Matthew 19:18-19, Ephesians 6;1-3, Romans 13:9, James 2;11, Romans 7:7
God has set aside a special day to worship Him. It means a lot to Him and he has said it is a SIGN that you belong to Him. Ezekiel 20:20 If you “Love God”, you would want His sign on your forehead.
