If you have not yet done the study on The Sea Beast of Revelation 13 then you should first do that study.
It would be wrong to study about The Lamb-Like Beast without knowing who the Sea Beast is.

The first one gives the clues you need to determine the identity of the beast, and the second applies those clues.
If you were with us in the previous study, you will be well aware that the beast of Revelation 13 is the catholic church.
However, we have raised some more questions, such as
Who is the mysterious
Two Horned Beast like a Lamb,
What is the
Image to the Beast,
Who are the
Harlot's Daughters,
and what is the
Mark of the Beast.
We need to follow the trail in a logical order, so all becomes clear without guesswork.
I guess it is like a science lesson. We need to build building blocks that are proven, and then put those proven blocks together.
I suppose we could do it using the evolution system. Take a wild guess and put together theories to "prove" our suppositions.
I prefer to go with the accurate
"Prove it as you go"
system.
That said, I believe the next "building block" is
The Two Horned Lamb that Speaks Like a Dragon.
We pick up our first clue in Revelation 13:11.

| And I beheld another beast
| | John is seeing another secular power rising.
Remember, a beast is a secular power.

| coming up out of the earth;
| | The first beast came up out of the sea.
This beast is coming up out of the earth.
The symbolism here is that there is
no water,
just earth.
Water is symbolic of large numbers of people.
Here there is NO WATER, and therefore, either no or very few people.
This nation is coming up where there are no people enmass, as opposed to the first beast, that rose up in a sea of people in Europe.

| and he had two horns
| | A
horn
is an individual king, or a branch of power of a nation or kingdom (secular power).
This beast has two horns, which means either two kings, or two branches of power.
Remember, these two horns are there TOGETHER, meaning they are simultaneous powers, in the same way that the four horns on the leopard
of
were simultaneous powers into which Greece spread it's power.
This power is either a dual kingdom, or it has two branches of government, or two levels of government.

| | This is a lamblike nation.
A
Lamb
is symbolic for Jesus.
so this nation has a nature like a lamb, meaning it has Christian principles.

| and he spake as a dragon.
| | Remember this is a
Nation
that is speaking. A nation speaks by passing laws. When it says this nation
speaks like a dragon,
it means it passes laws like a dragon would do.
What does the
dragon
represent? It represents
satan.
So, this nation is a Christian nation that is going to pass laws in favour of satan.

Before we leave this verse, we should look at the sequence of events here.
The first beast is going into captivity in verse 10, and then suddenly, in verse 11, we see another beast rising.
In the previous study about the Sea Beast, we saw it went into captivity in 1798,
and now we see that while it is going into captivity, this lamb beast is rising from the earth.
This tells us that this new power was coming into power around about 1798, the time when the pope was going into exile.
Also of note is that there are no crowns on the horns, meaning that this is not a monachy or sovereign nation.
It has some sort of controlling body.

Verse 12 has more clues.

| And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him,
| | This nation is going to use the same powers that the first beast used (The Sea Beast - The papacy).

| and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
| | and this power will cause the people who live on the earth to follow the papacy.
This is two clues.
1.
It will force the world to follow the papacy.
2.
It must be a very powerful nation to be able to force the will of the entire planet. |

| And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
| | This power will perform some fantastic things and will eventually (or appear to) bring fire down from heaven.

| And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;

or appear to
and here in verse 14 is says
"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth."
These miracles will be trickery, but I think it will be trickery of a very high order,
possibly even with the help of satan.

| saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

is very interesting.
If you buy an image of an eagle, what would you expect it to look like? Of course, an eagle.
And if you got an image of a duck, it would look like a duck.
Well, the same applies here. The
image to the beast
should look like the beast.
The
beast from the sea,
the papacy, was a secular power and also a religious power. It was a combination of church and state.
Notice that it says
make an image to the beast,
meaning that it was not originally there. This power will change from being a secular power with
separation of church and state
to a power that combines church and state.
When it does that, it will have made an image to the beast, the papacy, and be just like it.

| And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
| | No surprise here. We have already seen that this is a powerful nation.
This nation has the power to "back up" the combination of church and state. (The image to the beast).

| that the image of the beast should both speak,

which is a copy of the church and state practised by the papacy, will
speak.
When a nation
speaks,
it does so by passing laws. This combination of church and state is going to pass laws, and remember,
it is going to
speak like a dragon,
meaning it is going to pass laws in favour of satan.

| and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

FORCE.
This nation is going to pass laws to FORCE people to worship it's religious side or die.

| And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,
| | We just saw that the word
causeth
means
FORCES,
and so much so, that anyone and everyone that does not comply
should be killed.
Now we see that
all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond,
(that pretty much includes everyone) will be forced to comply.

| to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
| | Everyone will be forced to have either mark in their
right hand
or
in their forehead.
We shall cover this in detail when we study
The mark of the Beast,
but suffice it for now that this is a symbolic mark, not a physical one.
This will not be a literal mark or barcode as so many think.
Think about it. If it was literal mark, it would be in consistent place,
either in the right hand or the forehead.

There are some more clues in Revelation chapter 12,
so we shall look at those.

| And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

woman
here, is symbolic of God's true church.
This is referring to the period when the papacy was controlling and persecuting God's faithful followers,
from 538AD till Napoleon removed the papacy from power in 1798.
True Christians were forced to flee away from the papal controlled areas. Where did they go?
Some went into the hills in places like northern Italy. People like the Waldenses.
However, you can only hide a a limited number in places like that. God needed a bigger solution.

| And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman,

water
here is symbolic of large numbers of people, and of course, as we have seen, the woman is God's people.
The
serpent
(satan) influenced large numbers of people to persecute and antagonise, and even kill non-catholics during this time.

| that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
| | satan wanted to eradicate God's faithful people by any means he could, stomp out, slaughter out, breed out.

| And the earth helped the woman,
| | As we have seen,
the earth
is symbolic of an area that is devoid of large numbers of people.
So, God is going to use an unpopulated, or lightly populated area to solve the problem.

| and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
| | So this unpopulated area is going to
swallow up the flood
of people to solve the problem, and provide a means of escape for
the woman,
which represents God's people.

Think about it. Does the
earth
that sprouted forth the
Lamb like
nation (A God fearing nation), and the
earth
that took large numbers of God's people away in safety from the papacy, sound like the same
earth
?.
Do you think maybe these large numbers of God's people escaping to an uninhabited area just maybe started the
Godly (Lamb Like)
nation?
Of course they did. They started a nation where Religious Liberty was a prime consideration.

It is now time to see who these clues fit.
I have looked at these clues for many years, and the only power I can fit into the clues, is the United States of America.
I would certainly recommend that you try to find another power that fits, rather than take my word for it.
However, I know you will not find one.
Let's now break down the clues.

They stand for the separation of church and state, something that was of prime importance to the founding fathers.
The secular power took on the responsibilities of the second table of the 10 commandments, those that apply to our fellow man.
The religious bodies took care of the needs of the first table of the commandments, those responsibilities we have to god
I see the two horns in the lamb stage as separation of church and state, and in the dragon stage as the church
controlling the state in the same way the papacy is shown as
a woman (church) riding (controlling) the beast (secular power).
The U.S.A. constitution was drawn up with the values of separated church and state at the topmost importance.

Unfortunately, that tyranny is about to start again.
The U.S.A. received Christians from all over the world.

It is certainly in the
Speaks like a dragon
stage.
The U.S.A. is now passing laws reminicent of Sodom and Gomorrah. (Sodomy was not their only evil.)
| | Forces worship of papacy | | This has not happened yet, but if you study the Bible on the topic (I shall have further studies on it)
you will see that this happens right at the close of history, and then Jesus returns.
We are, however, seeing the preparation for it.
Pope Francis is the first jesuit pope in history. He is making every attempt to get the apostate protestant churches
on his agenda, and he is succeeding.
The release of muslim
refugees
on to western soil is no accident.
This is done deliberately to force the Christians on to the same page as
the vatican.
It is to force "christians" to unite against muslims. But, that is a disguised attack on the real target.
The real target is Christians.
You may note that I said "christians" and Christians.
This is because I refer to apostate Christians as "christians",
due to the fact that they are Christians in name only, and these are the ones God Himself refers to as
The harlot's daughters.
So many of the latest laws, (most of them made illegally by a man with a pen and a phone) are aimed at forcing
someone's will on to the population of the U.S.A.
One such "law" allows the president of the U.S.A. to land military anywhere in the world he so desires to force
any issue he sees important.
The pope has recently addressed the United States Congress. What valid reason is there for such an action?
The people of the U.S.A. treated him like royalty. He is a king in the eyes of satan, not Christendom.
The U.S.A. is aligning itself with the papacy.
The U.S.A. is going to be highly instrumental in forcing worship of papal principles.

and I feel that it will have help from satan himself to perform these miracles.
The Bible suggests that satan will perform a counterfeit of the second coming, and I think that there will be miracles in this event.
Still future, but the U.S.A. will perform some spectacular miracles.

The United States of America is the Lamb Like beast of Revelation 13.
Unfortunately, it is losing it's Lamb (Christ) Like nature and is starting to speak like a dragon.
